Admissions Director (Nursing Home)

The Gardens At East Mountain, a reputable nursing home, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Admissions Director to join our team. As the Admissions Director, you will play a vital role in coordinating and overseeing the admissions process for our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all necessary admissions paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently

• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the facility's services and programs

• Guide prospective residents and their families through the admissions process

• Conduct tours of the facility, providing detailed information on services and amenities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans

• Coordinate with insurance companies to facilitate payment arrangements

• Stay updated on current regulations and compliance requirements

• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, and other referral sources

• Assist with marketing efforts to promote the facility and increase referrals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)

• Previous experience in an admissions role within a healthcare setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with residents and their families
