Job Title: Activity Aide

Job Description:

As an Activity Aide at Aperion Care Kokomo, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents through engaging and meaningful activities. You will work closely with our Activity Director to plan, organize, and implement a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of daily activities for our residents.
• Encouraging resident participation in activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Providing one-on-one attention and support to residents who need additional assistance.
• Documenting resident participation and progress in activity programs.
• Contributing to the overall well-being and quality of life for our residents.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
