Century Villa Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting our residents' well-being by assisting with meal preparation, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents according to their dietary needs and preferences.
• Ensure that all food is prepared, stored, and served in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
• Follow dietary guidelines and restrictions set by healthcare professionals to meet residents' individual nutritional needs.
• Monitor portion sizes to maintain consistency and meet specific dietary requirements.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and nursing staff to address any resident dietary concerns or special requests.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a dietary role or a similar position is preferred.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices and basic nutrition principles.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with dietary restrictions and modifications for special diets is an asset.
