Hendrix Heating and Air Conditioning Ltd is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Tangent Oregon. As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for our clients. You'll play an essential role in ensuring our customers' homes and businesses remain comfortable year-round.

As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, conducting repairs, and installing new systems when necessary.
The ideal candidate for this position should be knowledgeable of HVAC systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair problems quickly and effectively. You should be detail-oriented, customer-focused, organized, and able to multitask. The ideal candidate should also be able to work independently, possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing, and be comfortable utilizing technology to improve and streamline service processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of HVAC systems for residential and commercial clients.
- Install new HVAC systems as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service while educating clients how to best maintain their HVAC systems.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports and documentation.
- Continuously expand technical knowledge and skills through company-provided training opportunities.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in HVAC systems highly preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience as an HVAC technician.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
