This is a placement contract between you and the employer. If the employer hires a candidate you submit, you'll be paid the contract amount.
The payments begin when the candidate starts and are disbursed over time. The contract terms are:

Job Posting for Billing Coordinator at Laurel View Village
Purpose: The Insurance Biller is responsible for overseeing the timely, accurate and complete execution of the entire billing function. The Insurance Biller's duties include billing private pay residents as well as filing Medicaid claims. The Insurance Biller shall also ensure that billing of Medicare, Medicare Advantage and other insurance plans is completed in a timely manner.
Reports to: Accounting Manager
Essential Job Duties:
- Manages the billing cycle and ensures that employees responsible for any portion of the billing cycle, as defined and assigned in the Accounting Manual, are completed accurately and timely.
- Completes all Billing functions, following procedures assigned to the Insurance Biller as they are defined in the Accounting Manual.
- Keeps complete and accurate records of all entries made.
- Cooperates with regulatory agencies for audits and reviews of billing information
- Keeps privileged information about residents confidential according to HIPAA guidelines.
- Upholds Laurel View Village's Code of Conduct and follows Corporate Compliance guidelines per the LVV Employee Handbook.
- Maintains confidentiality of facility business and resident financial information
- Performs all duties in a safe manner
- Attends and participates in continuing education programs as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
- Duties are to be performed within scheduled hours any deviation from scheduled hours should be approved by the Accounting Manager in advance.
- Completes annual compliance and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Compliance in the performance of their duties.
- Adheres to the Organizations Policies and Procedures regarding the ComplianceProgram of the organization and is timely in reporting any possible concerns.
- Follows all local, state and federal regulations as they pertain to their position.
- Adheres to the Organization's Policies and Procedures covering Privacy and Security in Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Point Click Care (PCC) experience required.
High school graduate (minimum) with successful completion of related technical coursework.
Basic typing ability and working knowledge of the use of business office machines, computers, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to deal tactfully with residents, staff, family members, and other visitors.
- Must be able to use a 10-key calculator.
- Must have the willingness to learn basic micro-computing skills.
- Must be able to effectively manage time and prioritize work assignments and projects to meet organizational objectives.
- Must be highly customer service-oriented and dedicated to providing superior hospitality and service.
Working Conditions:
- Sits, bends, lifts, and moves throughout the workday.
- May be required to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and holidays when necessary.
- Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset staff, residents, and visitors.
