Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Administer medication under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement care plans for residents.
- Respond to resident calls promptly and assist with any immediate needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents.
- Foster a compassionate and supportive atmosphere for residents and their families.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents and fellow team members.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathy and patience to provide emotional support to residents.
- Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed.
