CNA - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Somerfield At The Heritage is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for the 2nd shift. As a CNA, you will provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with transferring and repositioning patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Observe and report any changes in patients' condition or behavior to the nursing staff.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Follow all established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
