HVAC Service Technician

Job Description:
As an HVAC Service Technician at Mundy’s Heating and Air, you will join a team of dedicated professionals who provide residential and commercial HVAC services. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will be someone who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and has excellent problem-solving skills. You will report to the Service Manager and work closely with other technicians to ensure that we deliver top-notch services.

Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC equipment such as furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including electrical components, motors, and compressors
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure their efficiency and longevity
- Respond promptly to service calls and communicate effectively with clients
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and organized manner, adhering to industry best practices and safety guidelines
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide emergency services as needed
- Continuously update your knowledge of current HVAC technology and best practices

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completed HVAC certification program or related experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical endurance, including the ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
