Job Description: Dietary Aides

Tlc East Nursing And Rehabilitation is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Dietary Aides. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and serving of meals, adhering to dietary restrictions and guidelines set by healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary requirements and portion sizes
• Assist with meal planning, taking into consideration individual preferences and dietary restrictions
• Clean and maintain the kitchen and dining areas in adherence to sanitation and safety standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure meal plans meet the nutritional needs of residents
• Document food and beverage supplies, as well as resident meal consumption
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment, is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
• Physical stamina to perform tasks including standing, walking, and lifting
