Job Summary
Walnut Creek Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our team. Our facility has an excellent reputation in the healthcare industry for providing quality patient care. As the Admissions Coordinator, your primary role will be to efficiently and timely admit residents in accordance with established policies and procedures. If you have a passion for helping residents and ensuring their needs are met, then this opportunity is right for you.
Responsibilities
- Interview residents, guardians, and sponsors to obtain required admission information and signatures
- Prepare identification records for residents according to established policies and procedures
- Maintain an accurate record of available beds
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents in adherence to established policies and procedures
- Provide residents with admission information packets, including resident rights, notice of privacy practices, and admissions contract
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to handle interactions with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public tactfully
- Proficiency in computer use and data input/output functions
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster (if eligible) required for all facility employees
