Job Responsibilities
As a Certified Nursing Assistant/Resident Care Staff/UMA at United Living Community, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing staff.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Assisting in the coordination of resident activities and promoting socialization.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or completion of a state-approved training program.
- Experience in a long-term care or similar setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain professional and compassionate demeanor in challenging situations.
