Brookings Health System is seeking a Long Term Care Household Coordinator to join the Neighborhoods at Brookview and become part of the Brookings Health System mission: To provide high quality, compassionate, personalized health care.

This is a full time, benefit eligible position. The Household Coordinator is a blended role with primary responsibilities in social services and activities. The primary purpose of this position is to enhance the resident's quality of life, working closely with the Nursing Supervisor effectively managing the household. The Household Coordinator may have responsibility of non-clinical and clinical functions of the household.

Qualifications include:

• The Household Coordinator should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in long-term care.
• All Household Coordinators are required to be C.N.A. Certified.
• Med Aide certification required. If candidate is not certified, 4 months will be allowed for candidate to become certified after date of hire.
• Experience in social services and activities is preferred.
• The Household Coordinator must demonstrate leadership abilities to develop and motivate people; possess good critical thinking and problem solving skills; exhibits the ability to prioritize responsibilities; be flexible and able to work under stressful situations; possess good verbal and written communication skills; be self-directed and work autonomously; and have the necessary management skills to plan for and oversee the utilization of resources and the design of work processes.
