Responsibilities
As a Pantry Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation and assembly of meals
- Ensuring that food is stored and handled safely and according to health and safety regulations
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the pantry area
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Collaborating with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar position, preferably in a food service or hospitality setting
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required
