Job Title: Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients and residents receive nutritious and delicious meals. You will have the opportunity to work directly with our registered dietitians and culinary staff, helping to create an exceptional dining experience for all.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring compliance with portion control and dietary restrictions
  • Set up and maintain dining areas, including cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and equipment
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper sanitation methods
  • Monitor food supplies and notify supervisor of any inventory needs
  • Follow established safety and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Interact with patients, residents, and staff in a courteous and professional manner

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment preferred
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and portion control
  • Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special diets
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work efficiently
  • Adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines
