Certified Medication Aide - Solera at West Houston

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Solera at West Houston. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents by assisting with medication administration and providing support in other areas of resident care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medication to residents according to prescribed orders and in compliance with state regulations.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and report any significant changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
• Document medication administration and resident care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized medication supply area.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Certified Medication Aide license in the state of Texas.
• Prior experience in a senior living or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with residents, families, and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration and documentation.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with residents.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and prioritize tasks.
