Position: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Shift Leader (Personal Care)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate LPN Shift Leader to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to the residents in our personal care unit, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. As an LPN Shift Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of caregivers, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Assess residents' health status and provide appropriate nursing interventions
  • Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the personal care unit
  • Develop and maintain care plans for residents
  • Monitor resident progress and communicate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards
  • Train and mentor new caregivers, providing ongoing support and guidance

Qualifications

  • Current LPN license in [insert state]
  • Previous experience working in a personal care or assisted living setting
