This is a placement contract between you and the employer. If the employer hires a candidate you submit, you'll be paid the contract amount.

The payments begin when the candidate starts and are disbursed over time. The contract terms are:

Market price: $1,000 USDEst.

Payment schedule: Paid monthly over 8 months

Lionsgate is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for our Contract Compliance & Third-Party Audit department. In this role, you will be involved in contract compliance, contract interpretation, general accounting practices, and procedures related to entertainment industry compliance examinations. This is a great opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge about various aspects of the entertainment industry, including theatrical, TV, merchandising, games, digital streaming, content distribution platforms, theme parks, music, and emerging technologies like NFT distribution.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform audit project fieldwork tasks and activities such as gathering data, providing cost support, retrieving licenses, and other related activities.
  • Review and respond to audit requests.
  • Validate claim schedules and reports for accuracy.
  • Provide research and analytical support in responding to film audits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide sales detail, projections, recoupment status, etc.
  • Analyze accounting/royalty reports and compare them to actuals.
  • Prepare revenue and expense reports for various types of media.
  • Conduct ad hoc title analysis projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, basic proficiency with MS Office.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, entertainment, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.

Nice to Haves:

SAP G/L, SAP business warehouse, or comparable accounting system experience.

Compensation: $64,500 - $65,000
