Overview

The Village at Victory Lakes, located in Lindenhurst, IL, is currently seeking a full-time Admissions Assistant to join our team. This position offers a competitive rate based on experience, ranging from $16.00 to $22.00 per hour. As an Admissions Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, collaborating with families and external healthcare providers. We are looking for a highly skilled professional who excels in building relationships, understands current healthcare policies, and is knowledgeable about various insurance and payment models.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collecting, assembling, and checking all admission paperwork to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Providing prompt and professional responses to inquiries and referrals.
• Offering support to residents and their families.
• Completing financial and clinical screenings for new referrals.
• Expertly managing time and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Engaging in electronic, telephone, and face-to-face sales interactions with residents, families, prospects, and external healthcare partners.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree OR equivalent experience in sales management in healthcare.
• 1-3 years of admissions experience in senior living, skilled nursing, or long-term care.
• Understanding of various payment models, including but not limited to Medicare, Medicare Managed and Replacement Programs, Private Insurance, Medicaid, and Private Pay.
• Comfortability working a flexible schedule based on the needs of our clients and community.
