Hours: 5:30pm-5:30am Tuesday-Friday, 6am-6pm Friday/Saturday + 5:30pm-6am Sunday-Monday 5:30pm

This union automotive manufacturing company needs experienced and safety-driven Forklift Operators in the North Kansas City area. Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts. 1st and 2nd shift hours are available. This is an associate to hire opportunity.

Material Handler/Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\ - Operate a sit-down forklift and drive in and out of multiple warehouse settings safely\ - Obtain forklift license and certification on first day on sit-down forklift\ - Operate Hilo truck\ - Operate forklift in a safe manner\ - Move merchandise to storage, properly documenting locations and/or scanning locations and product\ - Ensure implementation of quality and safety procedures\ - Work with other associates to set up machine, and stack, pack, mark and transport finished items\ - Maintain clean and orderly work area

Material Handler/Forklift Operator Requirements:\ - Experience in automotive or electrical assembly a plus\ - Forklift experience\ - Exposure to warehouse environment preferred\ - Regularly lift up to 35lbs\ - Sit or stand for entire shift\ - Able to reach and grab with hands and arms\ - Able to grasp steering wheel and controls for the entire shift\ - Able to stoop, bend, and kneel as needed\ - Accuracy and attention to detail\ - Good eye and hand coordination\ - Adhere to dress code and PPE requirements
