Job Description

Las Palomas Center is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dining services team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen, ensuring that our residents are provided with clean and sanitized dishes.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and other kitchen appliances
• Unload and organize dishes, glasses, and utensils in designated storage areas
• Sort and handle dishes carefully to prevent breakage and damage
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down countertops, and taking out trash
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely turnaround of dishes
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or chopping ingredients, as needed
• Report any breakages, damages, or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
