Job Description
We are currently seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dedicated team at Pruitthealth - Valdosta. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with various medical procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status and document vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor and record patient symptoms and progress
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Ensure the accurate and timely documentation of patient information
- Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures and self-care
- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in the state of Georgia
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Proficient in medical documentation and record-keeping
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards
