Job Description
CPMC-California Pacific Med Center Davies is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II - Surgery to join our team. As a Registered Nurse II, you will be accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care in an acute patient setting. Your responsibilities will include providing direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. You will deliver holistic and individualized care to all patients in your assigned area and develop, implement, and coordinate a comprehensive plan of care. This plan will incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
In addition to providing exceptional patient care, you will foster and maintain collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications. Adhering to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations is crucial to promote an optimal patient experience.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- RN-Registered Nurse of California
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- 2 years Surgery acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting
Salary
The salary range for this role is $79.22 to $105.05 per hour. The actual salary offered may vary based on location and other factors such as experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs. Sutter Health offers a comprehensive benefits package along with the base pay.
Schedule
This is a part-time position with a shift schedule of 8 hours. The days of the week may vary, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
