Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of stimulating activities and programs to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for our residents.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans and incorporate residents' interests and abilities into the activities.
- Engage residents in group activities such as arts and crafts, games, music, and exercise classes.
- Provide one-on-one support to residents who may require additional assistance or have specialized needs.
- Maintain accurate records of residents' participation, progress, and engagement in activities.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of our residents during all activities by adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make suggestions for improvement.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in healthcare, recreation therapy, or a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet the diverse needs and goals of our residents.
- A creative and positive mindset to develop innovative activities that cater to individuals' interests and promote socialization.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor to connect with residents and create a supportive environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing resident needs, schedules, and emergencies.
- Proficient computer skills for documenting activities and maintaining records.
