Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description
The Quality Technician is accountable for performing standard testing on products using lab equipment. Accuracy and attention to detail are a must! The hours are typically Monday – Friday, day shift. Responsibilities include gathering samples of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished products using standard power tools or other methods. You will prepare samples for testing through conditioning, cutting, or other methods, use standard lab equipment for testing various product parameters, document results, and write reports. You will ensure required training for plant employees is completed and documented appropriately. Additional duties include assisting with developing process quality control plans, participating in facility health & safety activities, ensuring the calibration of lab equipment, participating in plant quality assessments, supporting internal quality audits, and addressing issues to ensure corrective actions are taken.

This is a permanent position.
Work Environment
Manufacturing and lab environments include exposure to moving parts, fumes, chemicals, airborne particles, and high and low temperatures. The schedule is extremely flexible, typically requiring 10 hours a day Monday through Thursday, and 2-5 hours on Friday.
