Registered Nurse (RN) Ventilator Unit Med Cart

Transitions Healthcare Washington Pa is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ventilator Unit Med Cart team. As an RN in our Ventilator Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality and compassionate care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and ventilator status

- Administer and adjust ventilator settings as directed by the physician

- Provide and coordinate respiratory care plans

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

- Document patient progress, treatment, and response to interventions

- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care plans and self-care techniques

- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications:

- Valid RN license in the state of Pennsylvania

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care or ventilator unit

- Current BLS and ACLS certifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Detail-oriented and organized
