J.P. Morgan Chase is seeking someone proactive and detail-oriented to support key Corporate & Firmwide employee communications objectives. The ideal candidate should be an excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with thousands of employees using various channels and mediums. You should also be a strategic advisor and project manager, developing and executing communications plans that deliver on our priorities.
As a Communications Analyst, you will play a crucial role in serving as a trusted advisor to the firms' senior leaders and other communications managers about how to reinforce the firms' culture and keep employees informed about the firm's priorities and progress. You will oversee a variety of engagement channels and tolls, including the corporate intranet, the firm's broadcast email tool and various employee meetings and events. In addition you will coordinate and distribute firmwide employee email messages and plan and execute senior leaders internal events.
Job responsibilities:
Manage the firm's calendar of major communications and events to reduce overlap and manage the overall volume of communications to employees
Manage communications and ensure communications adhere to internal brand and editorial style guidelines
Teach communicators across the firm how to use the broadcast email platform
Draft, and proofread email messages prior to distributing them to ensure clarity and flawless spelling and grammar
Track communication metrics using the firm's metrics tool
Manage event logistics for senior executive and employee events and site visits, including scheduling, booking rooms, scheduling Zoom webinars, collecting audio/video requirements, sending invitations, ordering catering and tracking attendance
Support AV Technicians, Corporate Events and Conference Center Planners on event execution
Provide on-the-ground event support in New York City and Jersey City
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
2+ years of professional experience required
Demonstrated ability to act with a sense of urgency
Good executive presence and ability to work with senior leaders
Excellent proofreading skills (a writing test will be required as part of the interview process)
Strong writing skills
Fluency in English language communications required
Demonstrated ability to master complex processes and recommend process improvements as needed
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, adhere to deadlines and deliver results with a strong attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
experience in a large corporate setting; prior experience within the firm or another highly regulated industry and event management experience
experience drafting and editing business messages
experience with broadcast email distribution systems
