Job Description
CNAs will provide high-quality daily care to residents. This includes bathing, dressing, feeding, taking and recording vital signs, as well as helping residents with activities of daily living.
Duties Include:
- Answering call lights and addressing residents' needs and wants in a timely manner
- Performing and satisfactorily completing all daily assignments in a timely manner
- Keeping supervisor informed of the resident's status and of any changes in the resident's condition
- Maintaining resident rooms in a clean and tidy manner to provide a sanitary environment
- Transporting residents to activities and special recreational events
- Supporting all other services through an interdisciplinary, holistic approach
- Remaining on the unit and leaving only for scheduled breaks and lunch with permission of supervisor
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a state-approved Basic Nurse Aide Class
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant recognized by the state of Indiana upon hire or within 120 days of hire
- Must maintain certification as required by the facility or the state
- Requires the ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 60 pounds frequently
Schedule:
Full-Time Afternoon Shift
Hourly rate based on experience
$0.50 additional per hour for second shift
$1.00 additional per hour for third shift
Weekend shift pay: $1.00 additional per hour
Weekends and Holidays: Must work a rotating schedule
