As an HVAC Service Technician at EAST IOWA MECHANICAL, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for our commercial and residential clients. Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system problems
- Repairing or replacing defective HVAC equipment parts
- Performing HVAC system installations
- Conducting performance tests on HVAC systems
- Ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance, service, and repairs performed
- Providing excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or degree in HVAC service or related field
- At least 2 years' experience in HVAC service
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Valid driver's license
