Village Care Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care for patients with acute and chronic wounds. Your expertise will help promote healing, prevent infection, and improve the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing and evaluating patients' wounds to determine the appropriate interventions
• Developing and implementing comprehensive wound care plans
• Cleaning and dressing wounds using aseptic techniques
• Administering medications and performing wound care procedures as prescribed
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educating patients and their families on wound self-care and prevention strategies

Requirements:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in wound care nursing
• Strong knowledge of wound assessment, prevention, and management techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and work schedules
