Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status and develop personalized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an interdisciplinary approach to resident care
- Assist in the training and mentoring of nursing staff, promoting a positive and nurturing work environment
- Act as a resource for residents and their families, providing information, guidance, and emotional support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies
Qualifications:
- Valid and current RN or LPN license in the state of Iowa
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
