Job Description
At Pickersgill Retirement Community, we are currently seeking a Housekeeping Aide to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our community. Your attention to detail and passion for creating a comfortable living environment will contribute to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Ensure that all common areas, resident rooms, and public spaces are clean and tidy
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of special events and gatherings
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
