Job Description: HVAC Service Technician

As a HVAC Service Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing various heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose issues, perform inspections, and provide efficient solutions to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including but not limited to cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in HVAC systems, including mechanical and electrical components
- Provide prompt and efficient repairs to restore functionality and efficiency
- Conduct inspections and tests to evaluate the performance and safety of HVAC systems
- Collaborate with customers to understand their concerns and advise on appropriate solutions
- Install and replace HVAC equipment and components as needed
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
- Stay updated with industry advancements and participate in training programs to expand your knowledge and skills
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Completion of HVAC certification program preferred
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems and components
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical manuals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call for emergencies
