SHIPPING GENERAL FOREMAN

Description Shipping general foreman Souderton, Pennsylvania Essential Job Functions: Plan orders in warehouse management system and review inventory Interpret specifications, job orders, and company policies and procedures to employees Assist employees with jobs as necessary, lifting boxes, operating pallet jack or forklift, operating label machines, wrapping combos etc. Follow up on any repairs or maintenance required, ensure all employee licenses and health checks are up to date Motivate and manage supervisors and employees to guarantee highest productivity Communicate closely with shipping management at our corporate office Sign out supplies for employees as necessary and ensure employees wear proper PPE Manage inbound/outbound of pallet supplies Availability to cover other shifts and weekends when necessary Responsible for inventory control Work closely with production to ensure there are no delays to operations Required Experience: Minimum of two years in management role Experience working in manufacturing or food production preferred but not required Experience working in shipping or experience tracking inventory Bilingual preferred but not required Skills/Abilities Required: Capable of safely lifting boxes weighing up to one hundred pounds Be able to work a flexible schedule Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Must be highly motivated, responsible and organized Must be dependable Possess high level of attention to detail BENEFITS Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Vacation, sick leave, and six company observed holidays Better Future Program-2 year MONTCO Community College tuition paid for employee and dependents Be Extraordinary.
