Moravian Manor, a leading senior living community nestled in beautiful Lititz, Pennsylvania, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our dedicated team. As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall tidiness of our community. Your attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills will create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that enhances the daily lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing, to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our community areas, including common spaces, corridors, and resident rooms.
• Collect and replenish supplies in designated areas, such as linen closets, storage rooms, and utility carts, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining a neat and orderly appearance.
• Safely handle and dispose of waste and hazardous materials according to established protocols and guidelines, while adhering to environmentally friendly practices to promote sustainability.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department promptly, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for all residents and staff.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with fellow team members to prioritize tasks, maintain a consistent workflow, and assist with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience in a residential, healthcare, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. We value a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage time efficiently, ensuring tasks are completed thoroughly and within given timeframes.
• Demonstrated ability to follow established protocols and guidelines while maintaining flexibility in adapting to varying situations.
