This is a benefited, full time position working 8-hr shifts Monday – Friday with variable start times between 7am-8:30am with a 30 minute lunch. No weekends or holidays. Located at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla.

*What you'll do: *
Perform technical skills to accurately assess the status of each patient
Educate patients and document patient interactions
Practice infection control
Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care
Perform EKGs
Place external monitors
Support AICD & pacemaker clinic by rooming patients and prepping charts
Prepare patients for cardiac Stress Testing
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
At least 6 months experience performing 12 lead EKG's
Basic EKG training
Current BLS from the American Heart Association
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
National EKG Registry
Cardiology Experience
4 months experience performing Stress Testing
