Job Description:

As an HVAC Installer at Cooley's Heating & Air, you will be responsible for installing and repairing HVAC systems throughout Salem Indiana. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all installations are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will be a perfect match for this role.

Responsibilities Include:

- Installing HVAC units and related equipment based on specifications and guidelines provided by customers and company representatives
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with HVAC systems
- Repairing and maintaining existing HVAC systems
- Connecting systems to ductwork, electrical systems, and control panels
- Testing HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Traveling to job sites and communicating with customers to ensure their needs and expectations are met

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience installing and repairing HVAC systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders
- Comfortable reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and other technical manuals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- EPA certification and knowledge of local and state HVAC codes is a plus
