• Manage nonconforming supplier material with containment, rework and cost recovery;

• Working with local plant managers, reviews productivity of each facility, conducts manpower planning; reviews and collaborates execution and planning on part shorts;


• Assist with setting and evaluating Safety Stock and Inventory levels to satisfy internal manufacturing and external part sales requirements;


• Drive consistency and efficiency in managing and controlling material and tooling needs (incorporation of barcoding, vending, check‐in / check‐out, etc.);


• Establish, implement and ensure compliance of supply chain policies and procedures;


• Maintain, communicate, and improve Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators;


• Improve the effectiveness of our ERP system;


• Continually develop expertise within the Supply Chain team to support company growth;

Qualifications and Experience:


• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management or similar field;

Qualifications and Experience:


• Must have experience inspecting Caterpillar Lower Powertrain components as well as EMD locomotive engine components utilizing CMMs;


• Must be proficient operating PC-DMIS measurement Software;


• Ability to work overtime when required, including weekends;


• Familiarity with ISO and Quality Management System Requirements;


• Experience with Manual Horizontal Measurement Machines;


• Experience calibrating, documenting and issuing / receiving various types of gages;

Job Purpose:


Entry level position designing plans and schematics to move trains safely.  Our growing facility designs microprocessor and/or relay-based systems that allow for the safe movement of trains.  Using MicroStation and AutoCAD, we draft electrical schematics depicting the interfaces between programmable logic controllers and various other pieces of equipment used to control track circuits, signals, electrical motors and communication gear.  We also write custom application software based on the location, design, and customer specifications.

Education / Training:
