Checkout computes the session price for the whole slot length. Holds and reservations bind to that full session price. Staff comps or credits adjust after booking, but public checkout always collects the full session amount up front.

Guests book on the public schedule and pay the listed slot total before arrival. Staff walk-ins use pay now or complimentary on the desk flow—still tied to the full session price, not minute metering.
Do not invent a settings path beyond what is listed here. If the product does not include a control, the desk workaround is the path.
