How do I change session times seasonally without shrinking how far ahead guests can book?

Update slot templates for seasonal hours; how far ahead guests can book rolling window stays independent of seasonal hour changes.

ZettlorUpdated August 26, 2026

How far ahead guests can book rolls forward on its own; Zettlor does not have a season calendar. Change templates or hours for summer vs winter; the booking window still extends as far ahead as your advance rule allows.

What Zettlor does today

Seasonal hour shifts are partial: edit repeating schedule template session start times or hours and regenerate. There is no season switch that toggles schedules automatically. Rolling how far ahead guests can book does not shrink when you shorten daily hours; guests still book out to the advance limit on newly generated slots.

This behavior is partial: some of it is live, and the rest is a desk workaround rather than a missing settings screen you should hunt for. Guest booking, cancel, and credit self-serve steps stay on Help. This page is for operators.

Desk path

Scheduling → Configuration to change hours; confirm how far ahead guests can book in Scheduling → Configuration.

Do not invent a settings path beyond what is listed here. If the product does not include a control, the desk workaround is the path.

Failure mode

Operators fear editing summer hours will close dates already inside the advance window. Only template-driven generation changes which times appear; the window length stays unless you change how far ahead guests can book.

Operator example

Ro moves sauna starts from 7 AM to 8 AM in June by editing templates; 30-day advance still shows a month ahead with new times.

A sauna and cold plunge operator can copy the shape of this example without copying another brand's private pricing or customer lists.

How to do this

  1. Plan seasonal session start time changes in Scheduling → Configuration.
  2. Update templates before the season starts; allow the schedule to generate overnight or generate from the template tools to refresh future rows.
  3. Leave how far ahead guests can book unchanged unless you intentionally want a shorter public window.
  4. Verify Schedule shows new hours at the far edge of the booking window.
  5. Accept there is no automatic season switch; desk watches calendar cutover dates.

Is there a season schedule object?

Zettlor does not ship a season calendar. Change hours and templates each season.

Will shorter winter hours reduce how far guests can book?

No. How far ahead guests can book is independent; shorter hours change times, not window length.
