A one-off event adds one calendar occurrence without replacing repeating schedule templates. Regular repeating schedules keep generating from templates on the same space.
What Zettlor does today
One-off events use event create as a one-off event. They appear on Schedule and guest flows alongside template-generated slots. Repeating schedule templates continue unchanged; the event does not mutate the template recurrence. Use this for a holiday sauna or cold plunge session that should not repeat next week.
This behavior is live in Zettlor today for a commercial sauna and cold plunge room. Guest booking, cancel, and credit self-serve steps stay on Help. This page is for operators.

Do not invent a settings path beyond what is listed here. If the product does not include a control, the desk workaround is the path.
Failure mode
Staff edit the weekly template for a single holiday special. Every future week changes instead of adding one one-off event.
