How do I auto-deduct a punch pass when they book an event?

When an event accepts purchased packs and passes, session credits burn per seat at checkout for a sauna or cold plunge event.

ZettlorUpdated August 26, 2026

Turn on Purchased packs and passes on the event so a punch pass auto-deducts when the guest books. Session credits burn per seat, not per minute, when that toggle is on and the credit is valid for the event.

What Zettlor does today

Events have Purchased packs and passes and Membership-granted credits under Unit credits. Checkout burns one session credit per attendee seat when those toggles allow it. A pack can still be limited to certain offerings or locations; leaving restrictions unset does not mean every event.

This behavior is live in Zettlor today for a commercial sauna and cold plunge room. Guest booking, cancel, and credit self-serve steps stay on Help. This page is for operators.

Desk path

Open the event under Scheduling → Events. Turn on Purchased packs and passes, and Membership-granted credits if members should also spend. Confirm the punch pack product uses session credits and is spendable.

Do not invent a settings path beyond what is listed here. If the product does not include a control, the desk workaround is the path.

Failure mode

Operators sell a 10-pack, then wonder why event checkout still charges cash because Purchased packs and passes is off. Guests think the pass is broken.

Operator example

Rytual's Friday night event accepts punch packs. A guest with three session credits left books one seat and leaves with two; the same pack still works on regular shared sessions.

A sauna and cold plunge operator can copy the shape of this example without copying another brand's private pricing or customer lists.

How to do this

  1. Open the event you want packs to pay for under Scheduling → Events.
  2. Turn on Purchased packs and passes.
  3. Leave pack offering and location limits as they are unless you need to restrict where the pack spends.
  4. Book a test seat and confirm remaining credits drop by one per attendee.

Does a guest plus-one burn two punches?

Session credits burn per seat. Two attendees on the reservation burn two credits when Purchased packs and passes is on.

What if the pack is monetary, not session credits?

Monetary credits spend as currency, not punches. Punch-pass auto-deduct is the session-credit path.
