How do we keep migrated customer data clean?
Duplicate matching, reconciliation, and Merge Customer keep imported guests from splitting credits and bookings.
Use duplicate matching and reconciliation during import, then merge leftover split profiles so credits and bookings sit on one customer. Clean sauna and cold plunge data is a merge job, not a second spreadsheet of truth.
What Zettlor does today
Import matching and reconciliation staging exist, and you can run Merge Customer with undo. Phone and email aliases matter; a second profile for the same person can hide credits on the unused profile. Clean cutover means one surviving customer for each regular, with memberships, packs, and future sauna and cold plunge seats on that profile.

Desk path
Advanced → Import and Advanced → Migration. Run Merge Customer from CRM → Customers. Undo a bad merge if you picked the wrong survivor.
Do not invent a settings path beyond what is listed here. If the product does not include a control, the desk workaround is the path.
Failure mode
Two profiles for one regular: membership on A, punch pack on B. Checkout charges because the spendable credit is on the record they did not book with.
Operator example
Rytual merged three imported emails for the same cold plunge regular, then the 8-session membership finally covered checkout.
A sauna and cold plunge operator can copy the shape of this example without copying another brand's private pricing or customer lists.
How to do this
- Run import with matching on email and phone.
- Review reconciliation duplicates before you flip the calendar.
- Merge split profiles onto the surviving customer.
- Confirm credits and future reservations sit on that survivor.
