Do future reservations import, or do we recreate them?
Appointment import can bring some future reservations. You recreate the rest from Schedule and slot templates.
Some future reservations import through the appointment import path; the rest you recreate on Zettlor templates or at the desk. Do not assume every future sauna and cold plunge booking lands perfectly on cutover day.
What Zettlor does today
Import tools can create reservations from appointment files. Staff can also book guests onto open slots on the schedule. Templates must exist for the times you recreate. Gaps after import are a desk job, not a hidden second importer.
This behavior is live in Zettlor today for a commercial sauna and cold plunge room. Guest booking, cancel, and credit self-serve steps stay on Help. This page is for operators.
Desk path
Advanced → Import for appointment files. Schedule to recreate anything missing. Generate slot templates first so there is a slot to land on.
Do not invent a settings path beyond what is listed here. If the product does not include a control, the desk workaround is the path.
Failure mode
You flip the calendar with an empty Schedule, then honor paper lists at the door while online inventory sells the same seats.
Operator example
Ro imported the next 10 days of appointments, then staff recreated a Saturday buyout on a Zettlor event because the import could not express the private room.
A sauna and cold plunge operator can copy the shape of this example without copying another brand's private pricing or customer lists.
How to do this
- Generate slot templates for the dates you will honor.
- Run appointment import from Advanced → Import.
- Walk Schedule for gaps and recreate missing reservations.
- Flip to Zettlor only after the near-term grid matches what you promised guests.
