What Zettlor does today
Staff credit grants support complimentary and goodwill reasons. CSV and universal import can create credits on the customer. Remaining credits are not enough: cancelled, fully used, or expired credits stay unspendable even if a refill writes a positive balance.

Desk path
Open the customer → grant complimentary or goodwill credits. For cutover, use Advanced → Import. Confirm credits are active and spendable before you tell the guest it will book at $0.
Do not invent a settings path beyond what is listed here. If the product does not include a control, the desk workaround is the path.
Failure mode
Staff refill remaining credits on a cancelled credit and the guest still pays. Makeup visits never apply at checkout because status was never revived to active.
Operator example
Rytual comps two sauna credits after a heater outage. Staff grant goodwill session credits on the customer; the next shared session books at $0.
A sauna and cold plunge operator can copy the shape of this example without copying another brand's private pricing or customer lists.

- Open the customer on CRM → Customers.
- Grant complimentary or goodwill session credits for the makeup or migration.
- Confirm credits are active and spendable.
- Book a test sauna or cold plunge seat and confirm checkout is $0.
