Can a membership include unlimited visits until a date, then re-checkout?

Unlimited access and credit expiration dates exist. There is no dedicated workflow that forces a new checkout on a sunset date.

You can sell unlimited sauna and cold plunge visits and set an expiration date on the credit. There is no dedicated workflow that automatically forces a new checkout on that date; after expiry the guest buys again from the store or booking page.

What Zettlor does today

Unlimited is an option on the membership product. Credits support an expiration date. When the credit expires or the membership ends, the guest is no longer covered at checkout. Staff do not get a sunset-then-recheckout automation; the next purchase is a normal store or booking checkout.

This behavior is partial: some of it is live, and the rest is a desk workaround rather than a missing settings screen you should hunt for. Guest booking, cancel, and credit self-serve steps stay on Help. This page is for operators.

Desk path

Store → Products for unlimited on the plan. Set credit expiration on the product or the granted credit. After expiry, sell a new product at the desk or send the guest to the store.

Do not invent a settings path beyond what is listed here. If the product does not include a control, the desk workaround is the path.

Failure mode

Operators promise a founding window that auto-converts to a paid plan on a date. Nothing forces that checkout; the guest loses unlimited cover when the credit expires.

Operator example

Reddit NYC ran a summer unlimited pass with an expiration date in September. When the date hit, members bought a monthly plan from the store; staff did not have a forced re-checkout button.

A sauna and cold plunge operator can copy the shape of this example without copying another brand's private pricing or customer lists.

How to do this

  1. Create or edit the membership and turn on unlimited if visits should not count.
  2. Set an expiration date on the product or credit so cover ends on the date you intend.
  3. Tell members they buy again from the store after that date.
  4. Do not look for a Settings path named forced re-checkout; it is not built.

Will Zettlor charge them automatically on the end date?

No. Expiry ends cover. A new purchase is a separate checkout.

Is this the same as sessions per period?

No. Sessions per period is a resetting count. Unlimited until a date is uncounted access with an end date.
