How do I show a session only by private link, or pin it as a featured event?

Keep an invite-only sauna and cold plunge session off public browse, or highlight a one-off so it is not lost in the week grid.

Control discovery: keep an invite-only sauna and cold plunge session off public browse, or highlight a one-off so it is not lost in the week grid. Zettlor gives you hidden-with-access-code offerings and private links today. There is no single placement picker for calendar vs featured vs direct-link-only—and no guaranteed featured pin on the booking page—so use the live controls below for hide vs promote.

What Zettlor does today

Live guides cover:

  • Hidden (only visible with access code) on an offering under Scheduling → Configuration (/guides/booking/private-access-code).
  • Private Link visibility for store / membership pages (/guides/membership/hidden-plan-link).
  • Per-slot open/close and one-off events for calendar presence (/guides/booking/override-one-session, /guides/booking/one-off-event).
  • A separate guest calendar vs ops schedule pattern (/guides/booking/guest-calendar-vs-ops).

There is no single Visibility dropdown with Featured-only cards at the top of your booking page. Do not invent Featured / Featured-only toggles. If your booking-page customization includes a highlight control, use it; otherwise promote with a private URL, access code, or homepage link.

Desk path

Private / invite-only session: Scheduling → Configuration → offering → Hidden (only visible with access code), then book invitees from Schedule; or share a private event / Pages → Store Private Link when guests need a URL. Do not use Store → Promos as an unlock.

Featured / pinned event: Zettlor does not offer a Featured-only card pinned above your booking calendar today. Workaround: create the one-off on the schedule, put a clear title, link it from your marketing site or announcement surface, or use booking-page customization if your org’s build exposes a highlight — confirm with onboarding rather than inventing a pin.

Do not invent a settings path beyond what is listed here. If the product does not include a control, the desk workaround is the path.

Failure mode

Staff create a discount promo expecting it to unlock a hidden offering (called out on the live private-access-code guide). Guests still cannot browse the service. Another failure: “featuring” an event only in Instagram while the booking page buries it under dozens of shared blocks — or setting a high-priced event live while memberships still cover it for $0 because placement was confused with price inclusion.

Operator example

For a members-only Sunday circuit, the desk turns on Hidden (only visible with access code) on the offering and books from Schedule. For a public solstice night, they add a one-off event, link it from the homepage and Instagram, and — when a true featured pin is absent — accept that promotion is link-driven rather than inventing a Featured-only switch.

A sauna and cold plunge operator can copy the shape of this example without copying another brand’s private pricing or customer lists.

How to do this

  1. Choose the job: hide from browse vs promote above the fold. They are opposite discovery problems.
  2. For hide: open Scheduling → Configuration on the offering and enable Hidden (only visible with access code), or use a Private Link store/event URL for link-only sales.
  3. Book or share only with the invited list. Staff can still book hidden offerings from Schedule.
  4. For promote: add or confirm the one-off / event on the schedule with a distinct name and price. Check membership and punch-pack inclusion so a premium event is not accidentally free.
  5. Link the event from your site, embed section, or social. If your booking-page customization includes a highlight control, use it; otherwise do not invent one.
  6. Preview as a signed-out guest: hidden items stay off browse; promoted items are reachable from the links you published.

Related but not identical. Access code hides an offering from public catalog surfaces; Private Link is a URL visibility mode used on store/membership pages. Pick the control that matches the product type.

Does featuring change who pays what?

No. Discovery ≠ price. Set Prices / inclusion so memberships and packs behave the way you intend on premium events.

How is this different from archiving?

Archive (or its workaround) stops a type from running. Visibility changes where a live bookable session appears.
